With a superb pool complex and private beach, Union Lido is also an excellent base for discovering Venice. Union Lido is a large, lively parc, with a range of impressive, high quality amenities. The parc's showpiece, is undoubtedly the spectacular pool complex with its lagoon pool and flowing river, which is ideal for all ages.
The health spa centre and Hawaiian beach pool are not to be missed. The pool is surrounded by sunbathing terraces and bordered by trees. There are also a variety of bars and restaurants for you to enjoy here, together with a well organised animation programme.
Right next to the park there is a private sandy beach with windsurfing and pedalos for hire. A great place for watersports or for taking a dip in the clean, cool waters. Off site Venice is within easy reach and the enchanting Burano can also be visited by ferry.
This 4 star park is one of the most popular in Italy and has received some very favourable customer reviews. One of the most photographed places in Europe. Napoleon dubbed it the 'finest drawing room in Europe', and visitors and pigeons alike have been flocking there for centuries. The top attraction is the Basilica di San Marco, St Mark's Basilica which is situated on St Mark's Square. According to the legend of St Mark's annunciation, the Evangelist was moored in the lagoon on his way to Rome, when an angel appeared and told him that his body would rest there.
