Ideally located on the edge of the Biscarosse Lake with direct access to a private, sandy lakeside beach. La Rive is located on the shores of the Biscarosse Lake, four miles from the small town of Biscarosse. Activity centres around the lake, lined by a sandy beach where a large variety of watersports are organised.

Biscarosse is a thriving beach resort with plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants to keep the family busy for the day. It's well-known for its excellent surf beaches and is particularly popular with kite-surfers; you'll find plenty of surf hire shops along the main beach.Saint Martin's Church is worth a visit - built in the 14th and 15th centuries from a local stone called 'Garloucheâ. The pillars, vault ceilings, stained glass and woodwork are all to be admired.

This museum is situated in a natural park and gives an insight into how life was in the region over the past centuries. There is a steam train for visitors and a range of activities to practise traditional skills and crafts
Parc Ornithalogique du Teich
Situated in the "bassin d'Arcachon", this area is an indispensable stop for migratory birds travelling between Africa and Greenland. With over 80 species of birds all year and a further 180 migratory species taking refuge, rest and feeding time. There are plenty of observation points to view the birds.
