Holland is a very interesting destination for a holiday and there is much more to it than just Clogs and Tulips. Holland is a large flat area and this makes it popular with cycling enthusiasts. The region also has many canals and waterways as well as some beautiful countryside, unspoilt beaches and vibrant cities.
Amsterdam is perhaps the best known city. It has a vibrant atmosphere and is frequented by the young and trendy from all over Europe. The Infamous coffee shops and red light district are popular tourist attractions and the city also has plenty of shops bars and restaurants. Outside of Amsterdam you will find a very different Holland. The coastal areas offer beaches which are unspoilt by tourism and remain peaceful and relaxing. Frisian Island is the ideal place to head for sun and surf as well and cycling.
Duinrell Holiday Park is one of the most popular in Europe. The large theme park attached to the site makes it excellent for with families with children of all ages. There are numerous rides and attractions with everything from white knuckle rides to gentle toddler shows. The campsite itself has plenty on offer too. The large pool and spacious terraces are a welcome place to cool off or lie back and relax. There are several places on site to eat and drink and a large venue for evening entertainment. Duinrell really does have something for everyone.
