The Lake Garda region of Italy has to be one of the most beautiful in Europe.
With lakes, mountains and pretty villages there is something for everyone and the scenery is out of this world.

Local attractions in the area will appeal to both families and couples but our favourite has to be Gardaland – one of the biggest theme parks in Europe. You can reach this by bus or car from many of the campsites.
For the adventurous you can take a cable car from Malcesine right up to Monte Baldo or head to Riva for some exciting watersports. The lake is the perfect backdrop for outdoor and water based activities.
Eden campsite has direct access to a shingles beach and some of the finest views of the lake. Two swimming pools with water slides will keep children of all ages entertained in the summer months. The welcoming parc restaurant serves delicious Italian pizzas. The 3 bedroom mobile homes offered by Al Fresco are the perfect base for your stay with the added luxury of air conditioning.
Camping Cisano is another popular parc in the Lake Garda region. The local village of Cisano offers traditional cafes and you can take boat trips on the lake from here. You can cruise around Bardolino, one of the prettiest towns in Lake Garda. The parc itself has a beach, shop and restaurant. If you like sports activities then head to San Vito just over the road, and part of the same campsite collectively known as Cisano San Vito.
You might consider venturing to the Adriatic Coast area of Italy too. Union Lido offers an amazing pool complex and you will find a sandy beach right next to the parc so you have the best of both worlds. Make the most of the fabulous Italian sunshine and laze on the beach or try one of the many watersports on offer.
