Wake up to a whole week with no school run. Take the kids for a morning swim under the roof of a covered pool, then spend the afternoon on a wide Brittany beach with room to run. By evening you’re back on your own deck with a cold drink, wondering why you ever waited for summer. A Eurocamp Easter break gets you the first holiday of the year, weeks before everybody else has found their flip-flops.
- Easter Sunday 28 March 2027
- Parks open from 17 or 26 March
- £99 deposit until 31 January
The short version: Easter Sunday is 28 March 2027 and most of these parks open on Friday 26 March, so you can arrive on day one. Pick a park with a covered pool, because Eurocamp warns that parks may close outdoor pools in poor weather or in low season.
Which Eurocamp Easter park suits your family?
Every park here is on Eurocamp’s own Easter list.
A Eurocamp holiday this early in the year is a different trip from the one you’d take in August, so choose it differently. Think about how far you’re happy to travel with the family on a short break, then look for the pool complex or activities that will still be running on the day you arrive.

What’s really open in late March?
Here’s the part most holiday pages skip. A park being open doesn’t mean all of it is running. We’ve read each park’s own notes on Eurocamp, because a family expecting August at the end of March is going to be disappointed. Go in knowing what you’re getting and Easter is a brilliant week away.
- Outdoor pools: Eurocamp says a park may close them in poor weather or in low season. La Grande Métairie lists its outdoor pool from the middle of May.
- Water parks: Domaine des Ormes lists its aquapark from 22 May, so at Easter you’ll be in its covered pools rather than on the big waterslides.
- Kids’ clubs: most start later. La Chapelle begins with weekends in May and La Croix du Vieux Pont with weekends in June.
- Bars and restaurants: La Croix du Vieux Pont lists its bar from 23 March, while La Chapelle’s bar waits until June. Le Chêne Gris keeps its restaurant for July and August, with a snack bar open all season.

Is Easter a good time for a family holiday in France or Spain?
It depends what you’re after. In France, Brittany and the Paris parks make sense for a short holiday, because the sun isn’t guaranteed but the days out are easy, from Mont St Michel to Disneyland Paris. The Mediterranean coast of France and the Costa Dorada in Spain give you a better chance of sun on the beach, though no holiday park can promise it.
Take layers for the evenings.
Check the accommodation too. Eurocamp’s holiday homes vary by range and by park, so look for heating in the description before you book a trip this early in the year.
Driving or flying for an Easter break
France is the easy drive.
Domaine des Ormes is only 27 km from the ferry at St Malo, while the crossing to Calais leaves you 241 km from La Croix du Vieux Pont, so there’s plenty of the day left for unpacking before the kids get hungry. That matters on a short holiday, when a long drive eats into the days you’ve paid for. Spain and Italy make more sense by air on a short week. Reus airport is 25 km from Playa Montroig, Barcelona is 36 km from Vilanova Park and Rome Fiumicino is 17.5 km from Fabulous Village. Check the flights before you book the park, since travel from your nearest airport may not run that week.
Easter questions, answered
When is Easter in 2027?
Easter Sunday falls on 28 March 2027, with Good Friday on 26 March. Eurocamp’s own search starts that Friday for eight nights, though school dates vary by council, so check yours before you book.
Are the pools open at Easter?
Covered pools are your safe bet.
Is there an Easter offer from Eurocamp right now?
Its offers page shows no headline Easter sale for your holiday as we write. Its Easter page does show a live price for each park, with any reduction marked beside it. The £99 deposit applies if you book by 31 January in the year you travel.
Which park opens first?
Le Chêne Gris opens first, on Wednesday 17 March 2027.
Will the kids’ clubs be running?
At most parks, not yet. La Grande Métairie runs its clubs for ages four to ten at Easter, which is why it’s first on this page. La Chapelle starts with weekends in May. Eurocamp says club dates are for guidance only, so check before you rely on one.
Can we bring the dog?
Playa Montroig and Vilanova Park don’t allow dogs. The other parks here do, with a limit of one dog in most types of accommodation.
Other breaks to look at
