Camping Interlude

Séquoia Parc

Situated in the grounds of a restored chateau Séquoia Parc has a simply stunning location surrounded by vineyard. Bike hire is available and offers the perfect way to explore the countryside. Onsite the fantastic water park has slides, a lazy river, shallow areas for little ones and is surrounded by attractive terraces. Guests can enjoy fun filled days with a huge range of activities to try from pony rides to tennis and children are well catered for with the kids club. For a day out head to the bustling resort of Marennes and enjoy the sheltered beach, bars, shops and cafes.

Domaine d’Oléron

Domaine d’Oléron is a relaxing and friendly campsite occupying beautiful woodland near St Georges on the Ile d’Oléron. The site boasts an attractive swimming pool area with slides and a separate paddling pool for younger children. Just a few steps from the pool the pleasant bar and takeaway are set in a marquee which also hosts evening entertainment at peek times. Other facilities include a playground, kids club and bike hire. Locally both the sandy beach at Boyardville just 1.5 miles away and the Chassiron lighthouse at Château d’Oléron are well worth a visit.

Camping le Ruisseau

Camping le Ruisseau in the heart of the Pyrénées is a five star site offering first class facilities. The fabulous pool complex has water slides, a Jacuzzi, sauna and is surrounded by spacious terraces. Situated just a stroll from the lakeside resort of Port d’Albret, Camping le Vieux Port is a fun packed site with excellent facilities. Other facilities include a play area, family friendly restaurant, a bar and a supermarket. This lively campsite runs an excellent entertainment programme with activities ranging from horse riding and volleyball to karaoke and cabaret shows. For a day trip we recommend a visit to the fantastic Atlantic Park water park in Seignosse.
