Discover The Alagrve

The Algarve is located in the south of Portugal and is just on the south-west tip of Europe. It is this wonderful location which makes The Algarve one of Europe's sunniest spots, offering year round sunshine. The area also has some of the finest beaches in the Mediterranean making it very popular with families.

The 160kms of coastline and numerous blue flag beaches are not the only reason to come here though. The Algarve has something for everyone including inland nature trails, historical sites, bird sanctuaries and many golf courses. Families can enjoy Dolphin spotting trips and days out at theme and water parks.

Holiday Parks in the Algarve are a good option as they tend to be very family friendly and provide plenty of facilities as well as being a good base from which you can get out and explore. We like Camping Quarteira which is very accessible with many budget airlines flying to the area. The site itself has plenty to offer including a stunning pool complex, sporting facilities and several places to eat and drink.

Valverde Holiday Park is a good choice for a relaxing holiday. The site has a peaceful feel and is located close to several beautiful beaches. Facilities onsite are plentiful and include a large swimming pool, supermarket and restaurant.
