Discover Halkidiki

Halkidiki is situated in the stunning northern Aegean. The Island is blessed with long sandy beaches and peaceful coves. The Island has a rather rural feel despite the close proximity of the ocean no matter where you are. Lush green hills are speckled with tiny villages and beautiful old monasteries. There are also many historical sites, attractive harbours and bustling tourist resorts.

Kassandra in the West is the most popular resort. The beaches here are similar to that of the Caribbean with bright blue waters and powdery white sand. There are winding little streets where you will find souvenir shops, markets and a selection of stylish bars and restaurants as well as many traditional tavernas. The area of Sithonia has a more rustic feel and has small, peaceful sandy coves and steep pine covered hills.

Halkidiki has several holiday parks including Camping Areti. The site is perfect for families and has a beautiful private beach. The accommodation onsite is in bungalows which are spacious and rather luxurious complete with outdoor furniture on the terrace. The location is amazing and you can even swim out from the beach to several little islands.
