\"westernWestern Brittany<\/a> is a holiday destination which is popular with British holiday makers. Slightly less expensive and less touristy than Northern Brittany<\/a>, the area has a traditional French feel.<\/p>\n

Families and couples come here to spend warm summer days on the long sandy beaches and to explore the rugged coastal paths which run along the edges. There is also a relaxed and rural charm further inland, where you will find endless fields, farms and tranquil little market towns. The region has several brocantes (big, inexpensive flea markets) which are well worth a visit and you can stock up on fresh produce to take back to your campsite. The bay of Quiberon slightly to the south is a good place to visit with several tiny islands, only accessible by boat.<\/p>\n

There are several holiday parks<\/a> in Western Brittany including Pointe St. Gilles<\/a> which is a simply stunning park with top quality facilities. The amazing pool complex has slides, chutes and sun terraces and there is also a spa and Jacuzzi. Families are well catered for with children having a range of kids clubs and play areas to enjoy.<\/p>\n

Raguénès-Plage<\/a> is another stunning holiday park in Western Brittany. The site offers excellent family friendly evening entertainment and a selection of well organised activities throughout the day. There is also a beautiful pool, play area and kids club.<\/p>\n
