Cashel
Loch Lomond is one of the best known of the Scottish lochs, and many would argue that its 'bonnie banks' also offer the most perfect scenery. Situated in a grassy enclave amidst the tree-lined banks of the loch, Cashel has as much to offer sailors as it does walkers.
Campers with their own boat are welcome to cast off for a leisurely sail, while everyone is able to take one of the regular loch cruises that explore the inlets and islands of Britain's biggest expanse of inland water. Those who prefer to stay on dry land will find a number of Ranger-guided pursuits as well as the exceptional walking opportunities afforded by both the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park and the majestic Ben Lomond.
The tents on site provide a cosy base and a comfortable retreat after a busy day in the outdoors. This site is open from end March to mid September and is popular with couples as well as families. Activities include fishing, fresh water fishing as well as various ranger led activities.
