Camping Fabulous near Rome
Be it your main summer holiday or a short break, this campsite will fit the bill.  It's with easy access of both the city and the airports by public transport and, if you weren't aware, Rome does have a beach too.  Enjoy the sights of this amazing city and then head back to the campsite for some relaxation and a dip in the pool.

camping san francesco

Camping San Francesco in Desenzano del Garda, Lake Garda
The Italian lakes attract tourists throughout the year and an ideal and affordable way to see this wonderful region is by staying at a top campsite like San Francseco.  The campsite is on the shores of the lake with a 300m long beach.  You can swim both in the lake and in the campsite's large pool.

laguna village

Laguna Village in Carole, Venitian Riviera
With 2 large pools, children's pool, waterslide and jacuzzi it likely that you won't want to leave this campsite.  However the sandy beach is just 100m away and the pretty town of Carole is only a short walk.  There's a bar and restaurant on site but plenty more in Carole itself.  The public transport in Italy is excellent and so it's quite easy to take a low cost flight and reach the campsite by bus from the airport and avoid the expense of hiring a car.
