La Grande Tortue is a small and friendly park enjoying a pretty location that also makes it ideal for for exploring the region. The owners here will always give you a friendly welcome and you will find that this is an ideal parc for those families who like things 'rustic' and 'traditional'. Having said that, La Grande Tortue has a small but pleasant restaurant and a choice of family or children's pools.
This small park is set among shady trees just a short walk from the pretty village of Candè-sur-Beuvron, close to the River Beuvron but very much off the usual tourist trail, amid pleasant, rural surroundings. Even so, there are shops and restaurants close to hand and you're well placed to explore all the popular châteaux: including nearby Chaumont with its enchanting tree-lined setting; elegant Cheverny and the Renaissance château of Blois.
Loire is the perfect place to explore and after a busy day you can retreat to your comfortable accommodation. The mobile homes are a real home from home and you can choose from 2 or 3 bedrooms to suit your needs. The 2 bedroom Comfort with deck and the 3 bedroom Superior with deck are perfect as they enable you to enjoy some outside space for relaxing. Tents are also available on this site and are good value.
