La Rocca
This modern holiday park set in the shadow of 'La Rocca', the large, rocky promontory from which the park takes its name, is well situated for exploring the delights of this area. With boats as frequent as buses you can relax and enjoy the magnificent sights with someone else doing the work! The camp-site has a lovely open feel with pleasant, grassy pitches. There's also plenty to do on site with tennis courts, table tennis and swimming pools for all the family, as well as organised activities during the high season.
The pebbly lake beach is ideal to soak up the sun or try out the Eurocamp canoe. On a clear day a walk to the top of 'La Rocca' gives you a wonderful view of the shimmering expanse of Lake Garda, or why not enjoy a paddle across the lake to the island of S. Biagio. The nearby villages of Moniga and Manerba are really most attractive but the regular boat trips available from nearby Desenzano are definitely the best way to see most of the pretty lakeside villages. Further afield visit the picturesque old town of Brescia and day trips to historic Verona, bustling Milan or unforgettable Venice are also well within reach.
This park has something for everyone and the tent accommodation provides a comfortable base for your stay. With 225 pitches this is a medium sized park and has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We are sure you will charmed as soon as you enter the park and this is why La Rocca has so many repeat visitors.
